FE fundinfo has added Irish tax modelling to its Nexus platform for financial advisers in the Republic of Ireland

FE fundinfo has extended its Nexus for Financial Advisers platform into the Republic of Ireland, adding a dedicated Gross Cashflow modeller that brings built-in tax-aware planning to advisers in the market. According to FE fundinfo, this new functionality will allow Irish advisers to offer greater value to their clients and have deeper conversations around tax without relying on manual calculations.

Key Capabilities

The new Irish tax modelling functionality includes several key capabilities, including dedicated Irish forecasting, a built-in Irish tax engine, and Irish-specific planning inputs. These capabilities will enable advisers to create, manage, and import Irish gross forecasts as a separate forecast type, while also applying Irish Income Tax, USC, PRSI, and other relevant taxes throughout the forecast.

Benefits for Advisers

The addition of Irish tax modelling to the Nexus platform is expected to benefit advisers in several ways. For example, it will allow them to build forecasts by importing existing client assets and pensions directly from information captured in Nexus Assistant and investment research. This will enable advisers to start each forecast from the client's existing financial position, rather than having to manually enter data.

Future Developments

FE fundinfo has also announced plans to add more than 25 new capabilities to the Nexus platform by the end of the year, including AI-powered, whole-of-market cashflow modelling capabilities. According to Ishaan Sethi, Head of UK Wealth Products at FE fundinfo, the company is committed to building more of the advice journey into the Nexus platform, giving advisers a connected platform that reflects how they work and the clients they serve. The Irish Gross Cashflow modeller is the latest delivery against this commitment, and it extends the same connected experience to Irish advisers, giving them a seamless path from tax-aware cashflow planning to investment research and back office, all in one ecosystem.

The new Irish tax modelling functionality is now available to financial advisers in the Republic of Ireland, and it is expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their tax planning and forecasting activities. The launch of this new functionality reflects the wider vision behind the Nexus platform, which is to reimagine how advice firms operate by connecting the data, technology, and workflows behind the entire advice journey.
